In today’s fast-paced world, prioritizing our health has never been more important. However, managing one's well-being often requires navigating a complex ecosystem of devices and platforms, adding unnecessary complications. To address this challenge, I developed Life Dashboard, a centralized health management platform built using Next.js, TypeScript, Tailwind, Supabase and deployed on Vercel. The dashboard serves as a one-stop solution for tracking and analyzing health data from various sources, such as Fitbit scales, Oura rings, and dedicated blood glucose monitors.
What distinguishes Life Dashboard is its ability to aggregate data from multiple devices into a single, user-friendly interface, enriched with unique features such as real-time blood glucose monitoring and habit tracking. These features empower users to make informed decisions about their health. Since its implementation, my friend has reported significant improvement in his sleep quality and more consistent blood glucose levels, showcasing the dashboard's immediate impact.
The first section of Life Dashboard come’s from Oura ring, a state of the art sleep monitor. The user’s sleep metrics and calculated insights are fetched from Oura’s API. The user can see their:
The user can also see suggestions from Oura Ring:
The user’s sleep times is calculated by Oura ring based on recent and historical sleep data. Following Oura ring’s suggested sleep schedule has tremendously enhanced the sleep quality of my friend.
The second section of Life Dashboard is the other physical health data from the user. It includes the user’s most recent Fitbit scale measurement along with a reminder letting them know when their last weight measurement was.
Also, the health dashboard has the real-time blood glucose level of the user. As the user wants to avoid crashes and spikes in their blood sugar, they can monitor their glucose levels in real-time and take the necessary precautions to maintain stable blood glucose throughout the day for a healthy and focused day. Finally, the user can see their current step count measured by Oura ring.
The third and final section of Life Dashboard is the habit tracker built into the dashboard. This habit tracker is synced Supabase.
